BENGALURU: ZopNow, the e-grocery startup with presence in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Gurgaon, will expand its services to Mysore. The Bengaluru-based company, which was founded in 2011, will associate with More MegaStore to make its operations live in the entire city.
Mysore is the seventh city where ZopNow has ventured and has promised its customers the convenience of online grocery shopping and deliveries within 3 hours. After achieving a significant growth in Bengaluru serving more than 2500 orders every day, ZopNow aims to close this year at a revenue run rate of $20 million.
The company functions as a marketplace for hypermarkets and supermarkets. With their presence in 7 cities they have partnered with 16 such stores enabling residents living nearby to order online and get deliveries for their groceries at their doorstep at a time slot of their choice and convenience.
Commenting about the expansion, Mukesh Singh, Founder of ZopNow said, “We are very excited with our expansion into Mysore. The city with its rich cultural heritage has grown by leaps and bounds in recent years. With its booming working population, we expect to fulfill a critical gap in the market for those who want their grocery shopping to be a hassle-free experience.”
Singh further commented, “With our 3-hour delivery and free shipping on all orders, we definitely hope to add lot of value to busy professionals and housewives looking for better control on their household expenses.”
ZopNow raised $10 million in April 2015 in a funding round led by Dragoneer Investment Group with existing investors Accel Partners, Qualcomm Ventures and with Times Internet’s participation.
